Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp 1ST of climbing Kilimanjaro

Depart from the hotel at 8:00 AM and climbing Kilimanjaro through a dense forest for 2-3 hours. Enjoy a picnic lunch halfway and continue through tall grasses and giant heather. Arrive at Machame Camp (10,000 ft) between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Take in the beauty of the rainforest and acclimate gradually.

Day 2: Kilimanjaro Climbing from Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Day 2 - Kilimanjaro Climbing from Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Wake up to a stunning view of Uhuru peak. Climb through steep tracks, grasses, volcanic rock, and bearded heather. Have lunch below the Shira Plateau and climb for approximately six hours to reach Shira Camp (12,500 ft) between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Pace yourself and rest regularly.

Day 3: Shira Cave to Barranco Camp

Marvel at sweeping vistas of Meru and the Shira Needles from the Shira Plateau. climb to Lava Tower (15,000 ft) for lunch and descend towards Barranco Camp, passing waterfalls and the Umbwe River. Arrive at Barranco Camp (13,000 ft) between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM after a six-hour climb.

Day 4: From Barranco Camp Climb to Barafu Camp via Karanga camp

Climb to Barafu Camp via Karanga Camp, encountering some climbs and slopes. Arrive in time for lunch and continue through the Karanga Valley to reach Barafu Camp (15,200 ft). Enjoy the scenic climb with views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Rest at Barafu Camp for the longest day ahead.

Day 5: From Barafu Camp to summit to Mweka Camp

Day 5 - From Barafu Camp to summit to Mweka Camp
Start climbing around 1:00 AM, facing more difficult conditions. After a six-hour climb, reach the edge of the crater and continue for another hour to reach the summit, Uhuru Peak (19,340 ft). Descend to Kibo Hut and rest before heading to Mweka Camp (10,200 ft) for the night. climb for a total of thirteen hours.

Day 6: Conclude from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Descend from Mweka Camp to the base, taking approximately 4 hours for end our Kilimanjaro climb. Arrive at the gate before noon and receive certificates of success. Transfer back to moshi. End of service.
