After completing the necessary registration at Machame gate, the trek commences through a beautiful and lush forest. The trail meanders through the verdant scenery, and you'll enjoy a picnic lunch en route. As you ascend, you'll witness the changing landscape. We will camp at Machame Camp, situated at an altitude of 9,800 feet. The day's trek will take approximately 5-6 hours.

Today's trek involves a morning of sustained ascent and panoramic views until we reach Lava Tower at 14,900 feet for lunch. From there, the trail descends to the Barranco Valley at 12,800 feet. The Barranco Camp is located in a spectacular spot, sheltered by towering cliffs, and offers extensive views of the plains below. Today's trek is more challenging, taking 7-9 hours.

The day begins with a steep trek up the Barranco Wall, leading to an undulating trail on the southeastern flank of Kibo. You'll have superb vistas of the Southern Icefields. Karanga Camp, at 13,100 feet, is the last water point before the final approach to the summit. The day's trek takes approximately 5-7 hours.

The trek follows an easy path on compacted scree with wide views, steadily gaining altitude until we reach Barafu Hut at 14,800 feet for lunch. A short acclimatization trek to the plateau at 15,700 feet follows. Rest and prepare for the early morning final ascent to the summit. Today's trek takes around 3-5 hours.

Day 6: Summit Day - Uhuru Peak (19,345 ft Back to Mweka Camp (9,300 ft)

The ascent to the summit begins around 1 a.m. by torchlight. Trekking over loose volcanic scree, you'll take well-graded zig-zags and maintain a slow but steady pace to reach Stella Point at 18,800 feet in approximately five to six hours. Rest briefly to enjoy the sunrise over Mawenzi. For those still feeling strong, a two-hour round trip along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 19,345 feet, can be undertaken. The descent to Barafu is swift, and after some refreshments, we continue to descend to the final campsite at Mweka Camp, situated at 9,300 feet. Today's trek will be the longest, lasting 12-15 hours.

The last day of the trek involves a sustained descent through a lovely tropical forest teeming with birdsong and lush vegetation. The path leads to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate at Mweka, located at 5,400 feet. From there, we proceed through coffee and banana farms to Mweka village, where you'll be transferred back to your Hotel in Moshi. Today's trek will take approximately 4-6 hours. Dinner and overnight stay at Kilimanjaro White House on a bed and breakfast basis.
