Day 1: Moshi to Machame Camp.

Your exciting journey begins in Arusha, Tanzania, where you'll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Machame Gate, the starting point of your Mount Kilimanjaro hike. The gate sits at an elevation of 1790 meters (5872 feet). After registration and briefing with your experienced guides, you embark on the first leg of your adventure. The trail leads you through the enchanting tropical rainforest, where you'll be surrounded by lush vegetation and diverse wildlife. Keep an eye out for black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various forest birds as you ascend. The serenity of the forest and the sounds of nature create a soothing atmosphere during the 6รขโ‚ฌโ€œ7-hour hike. Day 6: Hiking from Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, then descending to Mweka Camp

Today is the big day! The ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro and the roof of Africa, begins before midnight. The 1255-meter (4117 feet) ascent over just over 3 kilometers (1.86 miles) is a strenuous and lengthy hike, taking approximately 6-8 hours. Your goal is to reach the summit just in time to witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the Great Rift Valley. The sense of accomplishment and the breathtaking views from Uhuru Peak make the effort all the more worthwhile. After taking plenty of pictures to capture the moment, you'll start the descent back down the mountain, heading to Mweka Camp at an altitude of 3080 meters (10105 feet). The total hiking time for this day can vary, usually taking around 10 to 14 hours.

Upon reaching Mweka Gate, at an altitude of 1630 meters (5348 feet), you'll be greeted by your driver who will take you back to your hotel in Moshi, where you can rest, reflect on your incredible journey, and celebrate your accomplishment of summiting the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro.
