Exciting Kilimanjaro climb begins with morning briefing at Moshi (1400m). Driven to Machame village (1490m), guides pack supplies. Enter rainforest, muddy & slippery trails. Lunch break midway, then trek to Machame Camp (2980m). Porters set up tents. Cold temperatures at night. Delicious dinner prepared by chef. Cozy tent for the night.

Waking up at Machame Camp (2980m), you'll enjoy breakfast and embark on a 2-hour climb through the beautiful moorland zone, after which the gradient eases. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes, and on a clear day, you'll catch a glimpse of the Western Breach with its stunning glaciers in the east. Continuing further, you'll eventually reach the Shira Camp at 3840 meters. The porters will again take care of your needs, providing boiled water for drinking and washing, while the chef prepares a satisfying dinner to replenish your energy for the next day's adventure.

The climb on Day 3 will take you to Lava Tower, which stands at an altitude of 4630 meters. The route changes, leading you into a semi-desert and rocky terrain, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The day's journey is considered one of the most challenging, and it's common for some climbers to experience symptoms of altitude sickness such as breathlessness and headaches. After lunch, you'll descend about 680 meters to the Barranco Camp at 3950 meters, providing a great opportunity for acclimatization. This descent takes around 2 hours and offers stunning views of the Western Breach and Breach Wall. The camp is situated in a valley below these impressive features, offering a memorable sunset before dinner.

Day 4 starts with breakfast at the Barranco Camp, after which you'll tackle the imposing Barranco Wall. Though it appears challenging, it usually proves to be easier than anticipated. As you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views, and the beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro will become even more apparent. The route then takes you through the Karanga Valley, offering a short climbing aimed at further acclimatization. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before reaching Karanga Camp at 3959 meters. As the evening approaches, you'll have dinner and settle in for the night in this alpine desert habitat.

Day 5: Karanga Camp Kilimanjaro Climbing to Barafu Camp

On Day 5, you'll leave Karanga Camp and head toward the junction connecting with the Mweka Trail. The final water point before the summit is at the Karanga Valley, as there is no water available at Barafu Camp, which will be your next stop. Barafu Camp, meaning "ice" in Swahili, is located at 4600 meters and offers a stark and exposed camping area. After an early dinner, you'll get some rest before the final ascent to the summit, which begins during the late evening hours.

Day 6: (Final Summit Attempt) from Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak back to Mweka Camp

At around midnight, you'll wake up for your summit attempt, starting with a light snack and hot tea to fuel your body. The ascent takes you northwest, climbing through scree until you reach Stella Point on the Crater rim. This 6-hour climb to Stella Point can be mentally and physically demanding for many climbers. Once you reach Stella Point at 5685 meters, you'll be treated to an awe-inspiring sunrise, weather permitting. From Stella Point, you'll continue for about 2 more hours to reach the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak, standing tall at 5895 meters. Here, you'll have a well-deserved rest and enjoy the sense of accomplishment. After a brief stay at the summit, you'll begin your descent back to Barafu Camp, which takes about 3 hours. After a short rest and collecting the rest of your gear, you'll continue your descent through the rock and scree path, returning to the moorland and eventually entering the forest. The day ends at Mweka Camp.

The final day of your Kilimanjaro adventure involves a 3-hour climb back to the Mweka Gate at 1980 meters. At the gate, you'll sign a register and receive your summit certificate, either a green one for reaching Stella Point or a gold one for making it to Uhuru Peak. Celebrations and congratulations await you! From the gate, it's another hour's muddy climb to Mweka village, where a delicious hot lunch will be waiting for you. Afterward, a vehicle will take you back to Moshi, where you can enjoy a well-deserved overnight rest at a hotel or be transferred to the airport. This Kilimanjaro expedition offers an unforgettable experience of challenges, breathtaking landscapes, and a tremendous sense of achievement, making it a journey you'll cherish for a lifetime.
