Day 1  :  Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp


After breakfast, we drive to Londorosi Gate to complete entry formalities. From there, we proceed to the Lemosho trailhead and begin our trek through the undisturbed rainforest. The hike to Mti Mkubwa Camp takes around 3-4 hours, where we will spend the night.

    Day 1  :  Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

    Continuing our journey, we leave the rainforest behind and enter the moorland zone. The trail offers stunning views of Shira Cathedral and the Western Breach glaciers. We reach Shira 1 Camp, located at 3500m, where we set up camp for the night.
