Day 7  :  mweka camp to mweka gate

On the final day of our climb, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast before descending for about three hours to the Mweka Gate. The forest trail was muddy and slippery, but we used trekking poles and gaiters for stability. At the gate, we received our summit certificates and celebrated our achievement. After a short walk to Mweka village, our driver took us back to our hotel in Moshi. We had a hot lunch, bid farewell to Mount Kilimanjaro, and reflected on our incredible journey.
