Arrival Day  :  Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi


Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Once you settle in, you'll receive an orientation for your trek and a thorough briefing from your guides. They will provide all the necessary information to help you reach the summit successfully. Your trekking gear will also be checked to ensure everything is in order.

    Day 1  :  Starting Trekking point (2,300m) to Mti Mkubwa (2,750m)


    After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we'll embark on a three-hour drive from Moshi to the Londorossi Gate. Upon arrival, we'll complete the registration process and drive to the starting point of the trek at 2,350m. The trail takes us through the captivating rainforest, where we may encounter Bush Babies and Black and White Colobus Monkeys. Our destination for the day is Mti Mkubwa Camp at 2,750m, where we'll spend the night.

    Day 2  :  Mti Mkubwa (2,750m) to Shira Camp 1 (3,550m)


    Today, we continue eastward towards Shira Camp 1. The landscape changes to the heather and moorland zone, offering breathtaking views of Mount Meru and Kibo Peak. We'll cross streams and make our way to the Shira Ridge at 3,600m. Finally, we'll reach Shira Camp 1 at 3,550m, where a delicious meal awaits. Enjoy the stunning sunset and the captivating starry sky in the evening.

    Day 3  :  Shira Camp 1 (3,550m) to Shira Camp 2 (3,840m)


    The trail remains in the moorland landscape characterized by rocky terrain and low grasses. You'll be amazed by the unique flora, including everlastings and lobelias. The views of the towering mountain are exceptional, and the path is relatively flat. After a short acclimatization trek, we'll rest at Shira Camp 2 (3,840m) for the day. The night sky will dazzle you with its sparkling stars.

    Day 4  :  Shira Camp 2 (3,840m) to Barranco Camp (3,950m) via Lava Tower


    Today, the Lemosho route merges with the Machame route as we approach Lava Tower. The landscapes are magnificent, and the trail offers views of Kibo Peak. We'll pass the Shark's Tooth ridge (4,400m) and cross shadow valleys until we reach the Lava Tower (4,600m). The descent to Barranco Camp provides incredible vistas of the Western Breach and the Barranco Wall. This day is ideal for acclimatization.

    Day 5  :  Barranco Camp (3,950m) to Barafu Camp (4,700m)


    We start the day with a moderate trek up the Barranco Wall, followed by a fluctuating trail crossing small streams and the Karanga River. After a lunch break at Karanga Camp (3,930m), we continue trekking up a steep ridge to reach Barafu Camp (4,700m). This signifies the completion of the South Circuit and offers different views of the summit. Rest and prepare for the summit attempt.

    Day 6  :  Barafu Camp (4,700m) to Summit (5,895m), descent to Mweka Camp (3,100m)


    At midnight, we begin the challenging ascent to the summit. The trek takes approximately 6-7 hours, passing Stella's Point (5,672m) and reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Witness the breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of glaciers and peaks. We then descend to Barafu Camp for a short break before continuing to Mweka Camp (3,100m) through the beautiful Kilimanjaro plains.

    After breakfast, we begin the final descent to Mweka Gate (1,800m). The 4-5 hour trek takes us through stunning scenery, including a descent through the lush forest. At the gate, you'll receive your Gold Summit Certificate as a token of your accomplishment. From Mweka Village, we'll drive you back to your hotel in Moshi
