The mental and physical challenges intensify, but the sunrise at Stella Point is a breathtaking reward. Continuing towards the summit, we reach Uhuru Peak, Africa's highest point at 19,345 ft. After celebrating our achievement, we descend to Mweka Hut, passing through Barafu Camp for a well-deserved lunch. Trekking poles and gaiters assist us on the loose gravel. Mweka Camp, enveloped in mist or rain, awaits us in the upper forest. We enjoy our final dinner on the mountain and rest.
