    Day 1  :  Beginning the Lemosho Trail - Big Tree Camp (2,800m / 9,186 ft)


    After a hearty breakfast, your driver will pick you up from the hotel to commence your journey to Londorossi Gate, located on the west side. Once the formalities are taken care of, the exciting Lemosho Trail begins. Today's climb takes you through lush rainforests, where you might encounter fascinating wildlife such as buffalo and the rare black and white colobus monkeys. The leisurely 3 to 4-hour walk along a narrow path with some gentle ascents will lead you to the enchanting Big Tree Camp. As you embark on your 5 to 6-hour climb, you'll traverse through the picturesque hills below the magnificent Shira Plateau. Shira, the third volcanic peak of Kilimanjaro, presents an awe-inspiring sight. The summit, covered with lava from Kibo, and the weathered rim offer a unique landscape.     Day 7  :  School Huts - Uhuru Peak (5,895m / 19,340 ft) - Millenium Camp (3,720 m / 12,205 ft)


    The most challenging part of the expedition begins around midnight as you embark on the summit push. The path to Gilman's Point, the rim of the main crater, is steep, dark, and cold. The ascent takes a few hours, punctuated by short breaks. Upon reaching Gilman's Point, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise over Mawenzi. The journey continues for another 2 to 3 hours towards Uhuru Peak, the pinnacle of Kilimanjaro. Celebrate your success and marvel at the expansive snow-capped landscape and towering peaks. Afterward, you'll descend to Millennium Camp via Kibo Huts for a well-deserved dinner and restful sleep.
