After breakfast, you will start on a scenic drive to Lemosho Gate, where you will complete registration and get your entrance permit. From there, a one-hour drive will take you to the Lemosho starting point. After a picnic lunch, you will meet your guides, cooks, and porters. Begin your hike through beautiful forests, arriving at Mti Mkubwa Camp for the night.

    Today's 6–7-hour hike covers a distance of 7km. You'll traverse the moorland zone, with opportunities to enjoy the sun, acclimatize, and take breaks. The stunning Shira Plateau will be visible as you gradually ascend. Reach Shira 1 Camp and settle in for the night.

    Day 3  :  Hiking from Shira1 Camp (3,650m) to Moir Camp (4,200m)


    Begin on a 4-6 hour hike covering 9km. Cross the Shira Plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and stop for a picnic lunch at Fisher's Point. Continue through the moorland zone and reach the base of a massive lava flow, where Moir Hut awaits. Enjoy the beautiful campsite surrounded by nature.

    Today's 6-8 hour hike takes you through the alpine desert. Hike steep hills and make your way to the Lava Tower, a volcanic plug that offers fantastic views. Descend for 2 hours and arrive at Barranco Camp, situated in the Great Barranco Valley. Take in the extensive views and rest for the night.

    Start on a 4-6 hour hike covering 6km. conquer the challenging Barranco Wall, using your hands at times to maneuver around rock boulders. Enjoy the rewarding views from the top before descending to Karanga Valley, the last water point. Continue to Karanga Camp, where you'll have lunch and spend the night.

    Day 6  :  Leaving Karanga Camp (3,995m) to Barafu Camp (4,600m)


    Today's 3–5-hour hike takes you through steep uphill terrain with boulders and shattered rock. Traverse the upper alpine desert and reach Barafu Camp, a rocky campsite. Rest and prepare for the summit attempt, with an early dinner and early sleep.

    Day 7  :  Summit Day! Barafu Camp (4,600m) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) and Mweka Camp (3,100m)


    Start your summit attempt around midnight, ascending steep rocks for 2-3 hours before reaching a zigzag section. Proceed to the crater rim and Stella Point (5,756m) to witness a breathtaking sunrise. Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After enjoying the summit, descend back to Barafu Camp for brunch. Continue the descent to Mweka Camp for rest.

    Day 8  :  End up Mt Kilimanjaro Hiking from Mweka Camp (3,100m) to Mweka Gate (1,640m)


    Descend through the rainforest for approximately 3-4 hours, covering a distance of 10km. Look out for wildlife, such as blue monkeys and black and white Colobus monkeys. Reach Mweka Gate, sign out of the Kilimanjaro National Park logbook, and collect your certificates. Drive back to your hotel in Moshi for a hot shower and celebration.
